You are at the west end of the house, in a large room which is broken up by several sliding partitions.
The silence here is a bit eerie. The total lack of furniture leads you to doubt that anyone could be actively living here. To the north, you can see the entrance to a dark room. To the east, you can see a small set of adjoining rooms. To the south, you can see an open doorway apparently leading outside. Or, you could look up to see what's overhead. |
