The Sweet Pea vine tends to wind its way around all the other plants of the meadow, tying them together into a single mass that is very difficult to walk through. Despite its name, you really wouldn't want to eat its seeds. They are toxic. Actually, the plant was probably named for its sweet scent, which fills the air all around you. Either that, or for the prettiness of its pinkish-purple flowers. Of course, eventually you are done looking at the sweet pea... |
