            The wind quickly gains hurricane force, becoming a howling shriek in your ears.  Daring to squint your eyes open for a moment, you see bright blue sky and clouds, moving incredibly rapidly towards you. Then the clouds darken, the wind becomes colder, and you feel the hard stinging of water droplets hitting your skin at high speed. The force of the wind blowing in your face quickly brings tears to your eyes, making it almost impossible to see. As you are closing your eyes again in self defense, you momentarily catch a glimpse of a brightly colored object amongst the clouds, moving at the same horrendous speed. In an instant, it is gone. Even with your eyes shut, the force of the wind from the box is painful on your exposed flesh, and makes breathing difficult. You would drop the box if you could, but you can no longer even feel it in your hands. Fortunately, it only takes a couple of seconds for the wind to die down again...  |
